Shipping, Payment & Order Terms

These Shipping, Payment & Order Terms apply to all purchases made through the Gun World Australia website. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Order Acceptance
All orders placed through the Gun World Australia website are subject to acceptance and product availability. Receipt of an order confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order.
Gun World Australia reserves the right to refuse, cancel or limit any order at its sole discretion, including where:
- a product is unavailable;
- pricing or product information contains an error;
- payment is not received within the required timeframe;
- required licences or identification are not provided;
- the order cannot be fulfilled in accordance with applicable Commonwealth, State or Territory laws; or
- fraudulent, unlawful or suspicious activity is suspected.
If an order is cancelled after payment has been received, any refund will be processed in accordance with applicable Australian Consumer Law.
2. Payment
Payment for all online orders must be received in full within three (3) calendar days of the order being placed, unless otherwise agreed in writing by Gun World Australia.
Orders that remain unpaid after this period may be cancelled without further notice. Once cancelled, all products associated with the order will be returned to available stock and may be offered for sale to other customers.
Customers requiring additional time to complete payment should contact us before the payment deadline expires. Any extension is granted solely at the discretion of Gun World Australia.
3. Pricing
All prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable unless otherwise stated.
Prices, freight charges and product availability are subject to change without notice. Pricing errors may occasionally occur. Where an error is identified before dispatch, Gun World Australia reserves the right to cancel the order and provide the customer with the option of receiving a refund or purchasing the item at the correct price.
4. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are calculated based on the destination, weight, dimensions and nature of the products ordered.
A minimum freight charge of $15.00 applies to eligible orders.
Products classified as "Big & Bulky" may incur additional freight or handling charges due to their size or weight. Customers are encouraged to contact us before placing an order if they require a shipping quotation.
5. Delivery
Orders are dispatched using Australia Post eParcel or another suitable carrier selected by Gun World Australia.
A signature may be required upon delivery. Customers are responsible for ensuring someone is available to accept delivery where required.
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on stock availability, destination, weather events, carrier delays or other circumstances outside our reasonable control. Delivery may take up to 28 days in some locations.
Gun World Australia is not liable for delays in delivery once an order has been dispatched.
6. Identification Requirements
Certain products are subject to age or licence verification.
Knives
Customers purchasing knives or other age-restricted products may be required to provide a valid government-issued photo identification before their order can be dispatched.
Firearm Parts
Where required by law, customers purchasing firearm parts must provide a current and valid firearms licence before their order can be processed or shipped.
Gun World Australia reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order where satisfactory identification or licensing documentation is not provided.
7. Firearms
All firearm sales, transfers and deliveries are conducted strictly in accordance with applicable Commonwealth, State and Territory firearms legislation.
Queensland Customers
Firearms may be shipped directly to appropriately licensed Queensland customers once a valid firearms licence has been received and verified.
Interstate Customers
All firearms being shipped outside Queensland must be sent to a licensed firearms dealer nominated by the purchaser.
The receiving dealer is responsible for completing the transfer in accordance with the laws of the destination State or Territory.
Customers are responsible for:
- ensuring they are legally entitled to purchase the firearm;
- providing all required licences and documentation;
- supplying accurate dealer transfer information where applicable; and
- complying with all relevant firearms legislation.
8. Dangerous Goods
Dangerous Goods, including ammunition, gunpowder and other products classified as hazardous for transport, cannot be shipped via our standard freight services.
Unless otherwise permitted by law and suitable transport arrangements are available, these products are available for In-Store Collection Only.
9. Risk and Title
Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery.
Ownership of the goods remains with Gun World Australia until full payment has been received and all legal requirements relating to the sale have been satisfied.
10. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing contained in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or any other applicable legislation, including the Australian Consumer Law.
Where permitted by law, Gun World Australia's liability is limited to the remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
