Knowing the ballistic data for your Ballistic Turret or long-range reticle is essential for a successful hunt. It’s not always easy to have all ballistic data in mind and remembering it while hunting especially when you own different rifle scopes or use different rifles. Learn in this article how to easily calculate the required values for your rifle scope with the SWAROVSKI OPTIK ballistic program and app at home or when you are out in the field.
Accurate ballistic calculator
The SWAROVSKI OPTIK ballistic program helps you to identify the individual aiming points for your long-range reticle and makes it easy for you to calculate the required correction values for your desired zero range distances for your BT ballistic turret. Entering your data in the ballistic program is the first step to configure your PBC personalized ballistic cam for Z6(i), Z5 and Z3 rifle scopes, your PXC personalized extreme cam for X5(i) rifle scopes and your PBR personalized ballistic ring for Z8i rifle scopes.
Bullet specifications are automatically loaded
For starting your ballistic calculations choose your rifle scope type and your specific ammunition out of a broad list with all popular bullets. All specifications are automatically loaded. In case you cannot find your ammunitions you can enter all specifications manually as handload as well. Enter your zero range and sea level. You can use the expert mode for inserting even more detailed data (e.g. atmospheric conditions...).
Detailed information about your reticle and shooting distances
Once you added all data you receive detailed information about the individual aiming points for your reticle and about the number of clicks for your Ballistic Turret.
